Renaissance Festival!
You're adventurous and interested in unique activities, which means a little Medieval is just what you need. The Renaissance Festival (located at 633 N 130th Street Bonner Springs, KS) is between $20-$25 and is fun for the whole family! Cheer for your favorite knight in the jousts, buy hand-crafted jewelry and enjoy a turkey leg--all in one place! Riverside Music Fest!
On September 16th from 3-11pm, come enjoy food trucks, local music and the great outdoors at the beautiful E.H. Young Riverfront Park along the Missouri Riverfront. The festival also includes a beer garden and national headliner! Great (FREE) activity for the more 'chill' KC population.

Waldo's Fall Festival!
On September 16th, come enjoy this FREE, family-friendly event taking place at 75th St. & Wornall Rd. in Kansas City. This neighborhood festival includes kids rides, games, face painting, food trucks, local music, and a host of vendors to meet and mingle with throughout the day. If you're looking for some local fun with the family, this is your spot.
Salsa Dancing and a Movie at the Alamo!
You're looking for a romantic date night--something fun and memorable. Located on Main Street in downtown Kansas City, the Alamo Draft house is a historic cinema that's maintained it's quirkiness through the decades. They even serve food during the movie! Follow it up on with some Salsa dancing at the attached Chesterfield Bar. Salsa starts at 9pm and classes are only $5! Saturday nights only.
