With an amazing view of downtown, not many spots beat this one. The beer hall has every Boulevard beer on tap, plus occasional samples of new brews. You can pair your favorite beer with an upscale hot dog from the beer hall, as well.
Chicken N Pickle
When you’re feeling like sweating and drinking, this is your spot. Not only is there a huge patio, but there are pickleball courts covering the main floor. Stop here for an array of chicken dishes to accompany your favorite beer.
Kansas City Bier Co.
This spot has a vineyard feel like you’re in southern California. You’d never guess that you’re right on the border of Kansas and Missouri. With a mixture of year-round beers and seasonal specials, you’re sure to find a beer you like.
The Monarch
Just off the Plaza, The Monarch patio is filled with cozy couches and is surrounded by city buildings. The perfect atmosphere for a start or end to a night out.
Rye
Rye is known for its atmosphere at both locations (Leawood and the Plaza). It features classic Midwestern fare with an upscale spin. Both patios have fires surrounded by fluffy couches, making the patios comfortable for most of the year.
John's Big Deck
One of Kansas City’s biggest and best spots to watch your favorite team play. The combination of the city view, walls of TVs and hundreds of drinks can’t be beat.
Hopcat
Hopcat regularly rotates its hundreds of taps that all pair well with their famous “crack fries” that have been featured on Food Network. Stop by for a city view and a fresh brew!

Comfy couches, an array of drinks, TVs for your favorite team and comfy outdoor furniture - what more could you ask for in a rooftop patio? This is one of Kansas City’s most popular places to head with a group of friends.
Kansas City Live!
On any given weekend, you can walk by Kansas City Live and see hundreds of people (tourists and locals alike) mingling about the main “living room” area. This spot is especially popular for sporting events and before and after Sprint Center concerts. There are a number of restaurants surrounding the living room, as well.
Taco Republic
Its tex-mex menu draws the crowd and the backyard vibe keeps them coming back for more. This is a great spot to go with kids because of their yard games and simple menu. Get yourself a margarita while the kiddos are running around! Best of both worlds.
Char Bar
An adult-geared patio filled with yard games and picnic tables. Char Bar is known for its smoky barbecue, full bar and chill vibes. A great start to a day or night in Westport.
